JUNE 23
Friday Good day all day, planted Tobacco down by road with tobacco planter, cut hay over in field we bought from Billingsly. started cutting wheat over by Billingsly farm after dinner, finished up 5 oclock. I called Judy up at night, went up to Bobs for a while. Hot 96°.

JUNE 24
Saturday Good day. cut wheat down by old house and finished that [[?]]. went to Waldorf & paid for Baler. $2344.56 Mother down to bake sale at dinner Time caked up hay we cut yesterday with pickey bates. carried 1 1/2 ton to Mrs Burton at [[Brandywine?]] in afternoon. Hot 101° went up to Bobs in afternoon. did not see Adina May.

JUNE 25 Sunday, Good day all day. nobody went to church. we went down on other place to see about Tobacco plants. also went down to [[Penies?]] to see about Tobacco plants. Mary Bob & I went to movies at night, hot weather. got home 11:30 (The Big Hangover good)

JUNE 26
Monday Good day. cut my piece of wheat and also finished up daddys. started cutting up for Rabbit Tayman. Bob Via over in afternoon to see me, cut all the hay up, the land we got from Billingsly. Bob came to get land planter for to plant some tobacco. Hot.
