Wednesday fair day all day, left [[7?]] oclock last night with load of wheat for William Rogers, got back at 10 oclock, raining in afternoon,  sowed soybeans after dinner on my piece of land, down to [[?]] all night. planted sugar, corn, & put straw in the farm[[?]]

JULY 6
Thursday [[crossed out]] G [[/crossed out]] Bad day all day, Rain all day all of us stayed & picked over tobacco. I carried Mary to [[Grange?]] Meeting at night and I went up to see Bob, played [[crossed out]] games [[/crossed out]] games with Adina May most of the time, called her up in afternoon to let her know I was coming, got home 11 oclock, [[Mr?]] [[Freeman?]]

JULY 7
Friday Good day all day, men striped and picked over tobacco in morning. Robert Daddy + I drew tobacco plants for our crop. cultivated 15.000 hill of tobacco for last [[Time?]]. [[?]] potatoes, planted more tobacco with planter. Bob + I to movies at night. [[?]] [[?]] got home 11:300 P.M.

JULY 8
Saturday * Good day all day. replanted daddy tobacco. Hacked up tobacco the men had striped the day before, men cultivated piece of tobacco over by graveyard. took truck, Waggon + [[Trailer?]] over on other place + loaded all the rest of my wheat up and [[?]] in barn. up to Bobs for a while. saw Adina May, Bob down here at night playing music [[?]] and daddy. got to be 11:30 had good time.
