SEPTEMBER 19

Tuesday good day all day.  Robert & I to school.  men cut corn 1/2 a day.  tried new manure spreader out.  carried truck to Waldorf to get fixed, but didn't.  I told Adnia Mae I would see her tonight & I did.  Then Bob & I went in town to R-K-O Keiths to a movie. got home 12:30

SEPTEMBER 20

Wednesday good day all day.  Robert & I to School.  Men cut corn.  Emily [(R?0] was up here at night from Colorado.  all so Mae.  nobody else came all day.  hot.  did not go anywhere at night.  except to bed.  saw Adnia Mae at school Friday.

SEPTEMBER 21
Thursday fair day all day. I did not go to school today but stayed and halled out manure for 1/2 day. Then cut corn until it started to rain at 3:30. Called Adnia Mae up in afternoon. Mary, Robert, Bob Via and I went to movie down to Waldorf. "Home of the Brave" got home 10 o clock. 

SEPTEMBER 22
Friday fair day all day but raining most of the time. Robert and I to school. Mr. Williams up here in afternoon. Saw Adnia Mae at school and called her up at night, she said she liked me a lot and so do I like her. [[Kent?]] Rallings was here tonight until 10oclock.
