Wednesday good day all day. Robert & I to school. Men stripped tobacco all day. Margaret Ward called me up at school & wants us to come up Sunday because Henry is going to be shipped to Korea they think. Went up to see Adina Mae at night & also called her up. she was not feeling too well.

OCTOBER 26
Thursday
good day all day. Robert & I to school 1/2 a day. dug potatoes with digger and got some of them in. Mr. Freeman. I called Adina Mae up but did not go anywhere at night.

Friday
good day all day. Robert & I to school 1/2 a day. Mary to work as usual. Went up to see Adina Mae at night. she has my ring now. got home 10:30. Baled up hay over on other place & got it in.


OCTOBER 28
Saturday
good day all day. men worked 1/2 a day finished digging late potatoes. Baled up some hay for our own use in afternoon I called Adina Mae up at night & then went home. carried 1 ton hay to Tayman. Uncle Gantt + Aunt Florence.
