good day. Called Adina Mae up when I carried Mary to church. all of us up to Uncle Franks and Margaret Wards in the afternoon. saw Aunt Patty & Harry Townshend & Henry & his wife & boy. Mary & I to movies at Waldorf saw "No life of Her Own" fair,

Monday good day all day. Mother washed. Robert and I to school. Men halled out manure all day. Earnshaw got 1 1/14 tons of hay. Carried 2 tons of hay to Poleed Peed in afternoon. I went up to see Adnia Mae at night and got home 10:30 oclock.

Tuesday good day all day. carried hay & straw to Mr Via in morning & went to school for 1 hour. Raked up my soybeans and baled them in the afternoon. Got 69 bales. Men shucking corn. called Adnia Mae up at night. did not go anywhere at night. Kent here for a while at night.

Wednesday good day all day. Robert and I to school all day. Norris seeding wheat, Joe shucking corn. President Truman almost got killed. I called Adnia Mae up at night and went up there to see her, got home 11oclock. I disk my soybean land up.
