Friday fair day all day.  Men stripped tobacco all day.  Mr Buckler came & ordered 3 ton of hay, also Mr Ellis cam & got 2 bales of hay.  Went up to see [[?]] [[?]] all right & kissed her & got home 11 o'clock.  Clear and warm at night.

December 9
Saturday good day all day. [[?]] & warm & sunny Paddy & I & doctors & then to [[?]]/job [[?]]. I am going to Chastown West Virginia Monday to get the Hammer will. [[?]] [[?]] got 1 ton of straw & also [[?]] [[?]] got 10 tons of straw, carried feed grinder down & Wallard [[?]], [[?]] Brooks got hay. called [[?]] [[?]] up at night & [[?]] went to bed,

December 11
Monday fair day all day. Robert & I did not go to [[?]]. I went down to [[?]] job [[?]]. called [[?]] [[?]] [[?]] at school & took her to movies at night. saw "King Solomon [[?]]" (Good) carried 2 ton of hay to [[?]] [[?]]. & 1 ton to [[?]] [[?]]. Exchanged 3 tons of hay for Ms Small.
