Tuesday, good day all day. [[???]] stripped tobacco all day & got in some wood. Robert to school. [[??]] to Baltimore to get a Hammermill. got back at 5 oclock. Charles Vernon & I went. Called Adina Mae [[??]] up at night. Sold 1/2 ton of hay to Harvey Smith & 1 ton to another man.

Wednesday, good day all day. Robert & I to school. Daddy got corn crib from school. Mel job brought the hammermill up there before dinner time. [[Mr.??]]Burger from Brandywine wants corn. Mr. Moore came & got 3 bales of hay & also Bob Via. Went up to see Adnia Mae [[??]] at night carried her a fruit cake.

Thursday good day all day. Robert & I to school. Mary shucked even all day. Mr Williams & Mr Roades up here in afternoon. Called Adnia Mae [[??]] up at night. ground some hay & feeder in new hammermill.

Friday fair day all day. Mary shucked corn all day. Robert & I to school. I carried load of blocks to spoon factory for Mr Via. Had supper with Adnia Mae [[??]] & helped her clean up the dishes. Mr Ellis for hay, Mrs Freeman
