Stoughton Dec 15th 1935

Dear Folks
We are having cold winter weather with the thermometer down to 15 & 20° there is to be a change today according to the weather reports. its cloudy this morning & looks like a rain or storm of some kind & it will probably warm up a bit. 
Mrs Barry went yesterday to do the last of her shopping in Brockton Mr Turner our right hand man, came and took her & brought her home before nine o'clock at night. after he had eaten his supper, she was surprised to find his car there waiting for her as she came out of the movies to take her home. he is very gentlemany & nice & likes us, he is willing to do any thing for us, a true friend to one he takes to. now he is trying to get up a party to take down to Florida. he said he wished I was able to go. I wouldn't go if I was able. its the last place for me. too many rattle snakes & hurrycanes. Massachusetts is good enough for me. I did not tell him so. if he could get up a party he could make a little something to help him out, he has a family of children & needs it. but dont think he makes enough, but is a good hand to take people out, he looks out wonderfully for their
