Dear Folks

I will start the letter as I think he will come and pick it up early. Although there is nothing important to write about. Barry went to Brockton yesterday in the rain. We have had three days but not enough only a gentle rain. The earthquakes are numerous up this way, we never what may happen next, there has been just a slight tremble in this part but enough.

The Persimmons came Friday they were in good conditions. I must give some to Ralphs folks not many people care for them, but they are eaters. I have eaten more than is good for me they are apt to take away my appetite if I eat them too freely, but they taste good just the same. Lena carried some home with her, she wanted to give them to the folks down there, she does not care for them.

It is most time for Rideout to come on he brings us the weather report. Then the news comes on, she never misses those in the morning ever
