Stoughton Oct 11th 1935

Dear Folks, 

I will start this letter early for I think the post man will come with mail. we are having nice warm weather this week very sunny.  

Yesterday I went to Alice Teeles funeral in the Universalist Church her body was brought on from Akron Ohio, where she died at Marions, the whole family accompanied it. she fell & broke her hip., after they took her from the hospital, she had a trained nurse at Marions & was a great sufferer. Maude took me. I had my marigolds in two boquets, very large, so Mrs Barry & I made up a nice bunch & sent them down by Soper, to the Lowes house, to go down for the funeral. being the day we went to the Harringtons in the forenoon, I had my picture taken in three different rooms in the old house. Mort was there & helped Soper to arrange the different sittings Anna & Mrs Barry also were there, so we had a good jolly time. I hope the pictures turn out well. two were taken in the ell kitchen by flash light there where
