they are to go south as soon as the season begins, so then she will be out of a job Careta will try to find her a place. she may take her, as the woman that has been there this summer, is going to Arlington to live. she is much better since her operation & is selling corsets. I was dreaming of you during my nap. I thought you were here with me & to find it only a dream it was not so pleasant to get used to. when did you get that box? was it what you wanted? I had so many to choose from. we have not seen Maude or Ralph lately. I guess they will be sorry to have that baby go away. life is funny we get attached to them, then they are lost to us. but I suppose as the saying "Better to have loved & lost than never to have loved at all". but the ones who do are the ones who suffer. The maple trees are turning I don't think it has been with frosts, for we haven't had much so far. it must have moderated early last night before I went to bed it seemed a frosty feeling air then long before midnight it was raining, it will clear off cold probably. I put on the heat about noon so the house when she came home was warm. now I will turn it on to have it warm for this evening again. it is five O'clock she is writing to her sister & I will finish this so it will go off in the morning I hope tomorrow hope the weather down there is fair to day here it is rainy all day & lonesome Ma
