up she said. she has promised to give her a dress if it fits her but I am afraid it dont. she is so much smaller than Mrs Barry. the dress is blue & the trimming was ten dollars a yard lace. I have just been over to pick up the apples. it is a job but quite a lot over there so I am glad to get them here to use I like them in in sauce she made an apple pie yesterday. the dog over to Ballentines is barking he is a nuisance. the neighbors are disgusted with him. he is a pest. they would find fault if it belonged to us Lena may be up if we get to turning on to hear Major Bowes she will be disgusted. Barry is crazy to hear him. I am indifferent. The dog barks on. we have just been to supper. a cloud in the west means a change in this lovely day. a moon in the east towards morning I got up to see it & thought it beatiful. now it may be cooler tomorrow. hope you have got rested I have finished the two little combinations & will send them along this week early. you will need them this month or next. I am going to begin on yours next. Mrs Colcord and Mabel came over this morning while the brother slept. the family fixed a place for her to sleep so she did not have to come over  so I had my labor for my pains. she seemed very nice & felt bad to make so much trouble. but felt better to find her brother better than she expected. she is too fleshy & may go in the same way. who will care for her. she is fond of her flesh & blood relatives. I am sure she will not have much to live for soon poor soul Ma.
