Mrs Gilzer gave me a box of perfectly fresh raspberries & Mrs Hammond the same, some she got in Brockton at a place where they are raised for sale, she gets then there every year. we have aplenty to live on these days. we are in hopes to be able to get rid of them before they spoil. it seems the blue berries were spoilt by our late frosts. so they told us last night where we went. Mrs Gilzer was going aroun to investigate goats milk she was seeing about the price of & where to get it for her boy. 40 a quart she is crazy on the subject & is growing worse. Lena is like her. they are both a little off & will grow worse. Mrs Hammond sees how she is & tries to reason with her but finds its no use. Mrs Gilzer is simply starving her boy by such treatment, he is not properly nourished, Dr Brides told her so. Careta says. she thinks every thing of Brides. so do I he knows. well it is cloudy today & cooler, we are going to have a change I think it is time.
