Yesterday at Aqueduct Lucky Lady won, Do-It-Again placed and Anita Baron showed.

[[image - photograph of a woman at a racetrack with a broken zipper]]

Taking a chance on a horse is one thing.
But taking a chance on the wrong zipper is really gambling.
Anita found that out yesterday in the sixth race.
Lucky Lady was coming up fast.
The crowd was going wild.
And in the stretch, Anita's zipper opened up. Right in front of thousands of people.
That's when she realized how important it is to have a dependable zipper at all times.

Like the Talon Zephyr® zipper.
Its quality has been proven in millions and millions of garments. That's why women look for the Talon name when they buy.
From now on, Anita will put her money on dresses with Talon® zippers.
She knows the odds are the rest of the dress will be well made, too.

Talon® THE WORLD'S QUALITY ZIPPER

The Talon Zephyr zipper says a lot about what it's in.

SUPPLEMENT COVER/FASHION DETAILS
The trio on the cover may have missed that yellow cab, but when it comes to fashion they have certainly not missed the boat.

The gentleman (left) has opted for a contemporary look with just enough dash to makes a businessman feel smart but safe. His suit is Christian Dior Tailored by Hart Schaffner & Marx. His button down, hugger-fitted shirt in the new Lacrosse oxford weave is from Gant Shirtmakers. So is his gingham check polyester tie...And at his waist—a stroke of brilliance—a 14-karat belt buckle with a triangle of 15 one-point diamonds designed by M & J Savitt.

The young woman (center) is appropriately suited up in a pure wool gabardine outfit from John Anthony. Special features: four patch pockets, buttoned epaulet shoulder, easy bias skirt with pants pleat detail. Spiffy with a soft rayon geometric print blouse with stock tie neckline.

Completing our cityscape, the Ms. on the right gets high marks for her classic jumpsuit, designed by Agatha Brown for the new sportswear house, Cabot Sport. Tailored from the luxurious Kasha fabric originally developed in Persia, the jumpsuit and the matching slim three-pocket cardigan coat are available in either Kasha or banker's grey...In case you're wondering, the jumpsuit has a drop seat neatly camouflaged with hidden zippers.
