SHOW BIZ BIO Colleen Dewhurst/Her Autobiography is an inspired memoir written with and complete by Tom Viola, producing director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Mr. Viola, the late star's assistant when she was president of Actors' Equity, completed the book after she died in 1991. Ms. Dewhurst's generosity, humane regard for troubled friends and infectious laughter are vividly etched, as is her glowing career. Mr. Viola has also enriched the book with comments from such friends and colleagues as José Quintero, Maureen Stapleton, Elizabeth Wilson, Edward Albee, Ken Marsolais, Jason Robards, Zoe Caldwell and her two sons, Campbell and Alex (Shribner, $27.50).
