Stoughton January 22nd, 1937

Dear Folks.

Still rainy poured all night hard I pity the flood people. we are lucky not to have that to contend with.

Have you seen Miss Colcord lately? Mrs Barry has just called up Percy to ask how Mystic likes her job + he said she was there Sunday all day untill after eight in the evening + she says that she is perfectly [[strikethrough]] well [[/strikethrough]] delighted with the people + job too. she says that they simply dont want her to do any work, + urge her to go out anytime she feels like it, also that he is not any care, as they have the district nurse to come in every day to give him his enema. I think she may fit in there all right, at least I hope so. perhaps the Lord has so arranged things that every one is suited at last with their lot. I guess Mystic is poor + needs the money + is good to help her folks with what she earnes [[earns]]. she is a great talker + if they can stand her gab thats some thing.

Ella came here Wednesday she was a stranger, so after listening in to the inaugeration [[inauguration]] + talking with her, was a little too much for me. so when it come time for bed I had one of my nervous nights + turned + twisted all night long. but made up
