Dear Folks,
We are having nice mild weather, so far its been a mild winter and but little snow. what the next two months will bring forth remains to be sure. I'm not going to worry about it until it comes. worry makes people grow old and the Lord knows I'm old enough now. as Mary says in the letter "you are the oldest woman in town." I guess she forgot Mary Datton and a few others. Mrs Din Joomey but the fact remains old is [[so?]]. but we cant die until our time comes. its much nice to go younger before we lose our facilities, then we become a seal [[?]]. Mrs Barrys says my cousin looks two years older than I do [[?]] but Emily is much more ayed and cannot yet around half as well as I do. she is four months older. if I could do my work I'd be content.
Latir Brane called up yesterday. she spoke of your birth day and said Ellis was from the 10th and if living would have been 80 years old. she could not realize it. she thinks of him as a much younger man and is'nt it much better! she is very good and calls me up often. when one gets my age, they appreciate these little attentions they get.
They say that Mr. Bing is a nervous wreck.
