Mrs. Barry is going to Boston the first of the week for her Xmas shopping. I am not going to buy any presents just a few I do my self is all. I am distressed at everything people make me. wish they would not give me a thing cards are enough when you get my age. I guess my box has arrived by now. if there is anything in it you want you can save out & give what you think away. I hope Sids Almanac arrived safe that extra cord would hold it in place. funny I forgot to put it inside, as I should have sent the box the day before but was waiting for her to go down town to get it.
Am glad you have been noticed by the big nature writer & have a chance to publish your articles in his papers perhaps you may become famous yet. glad you are enjoying your painting friends & hope your time is taken up with things of interest to you. I am cutting out your slips. hope the nighties fit & are not too large. they may be right for length as they are longer than the pattern. I think Mrs. B is going down to the theater the Play you went to down there is on this afternoon & its a good one so she is going to see it again. she may come home in a snow storm. she does not go to church since Marshall left.
