Poor Nellie Standish has just called up for Blanch. I told her she had gone with her crowd to meet the four of Worcester crowd for their dinner & to play cards afterwards. they always meet once a month & take a dinner at a big hotel then play bridge & give prizes. Nelly was blue & said she was going to bed & have a good cry & then she'd feel better. I told her to cheer up, wish she lived nearer & could run in, she said she wished she could to. they treat her horrid & wish she was dead & call her an old fool & mind her dam business. she pays her board & did own the house but made it over to Ned. a great mistake. I have just called up Maude she says Florence is going to have another one that was the cause of her sickness. I asked her if it was at the time but they had not found it out. Maude is tickled to death so she said. guess she will have enough. she is just the one always teasing for Henry to cuddle her up. cant get enough silly little fool. George McGarvey has got a little houndog + he has barked all day that discordant note + he drives one mad, I guess he is cold, but wish they were home to hear him. no one else likes to be around to listen to him for he is a darn Pest. well hope to send off the box tomorrow on the next day.
