I say take all the comfort you can while you are able & dont worry. trouble comes to us all soon enough dont meet it untill [[until]] you have to then be brave & try to make the best of it. compare your lot with others that are worse off. Heaven is never allowed in this world but to be goof we may enjoy it in the next. who knows. as time goes on we are every day nearer our God, so why worry. as things have turned out there dont seem much to look forward to. since election I think a great many are worried. I think there is excuse for roberies [[robberies]] & suicide. & crime in general. I was reading in the paper the other night where an old man his Mussolini Professor in the university who knew him well, or thought so, that Mussolini was not a bad man that his people love him & were ready to do anything for him & he had made conditions much more livable in his country. his ugly looks must bely him methinks. he is like Roosevelt the great I am & that is what people worship it seems so. all promises & no results. if our country in the next four years is not ruined I shall be surprised. but if that is what the majority want they have got it without any doubt. the old will get out of it. God help I say the others. I called up Mrs, Colcord & told her about Freddie Stickney she said she thought a woman she preferred, so there you are. I guess it would be a place no body would stay long. Freddy took care of the Bullock at the last & he was crazy for two or three years. his little girl has athritis [[arthritis]] her limbs all turning to stone. she is seeing trouble Mattie Ma
