Careta is always talking on the subject of neatness. I said to Amy no person was neat to let a dog do that all over their house, whether it was Careta or Mamie Kate, her dog did the same, Mrs Barry said & when Myrtie came the dog was kept out side & a truck ran over him & a darn good thing I should say. I have picked my last boquet from the chrysanthemums out by the little building. they have been very beautiful. I have given lots away to different ones who have appreciated them. I wish you could have seen them, they last longer in boquets than other flowers we think. Mrs Barry goes down to practice to night if Frank Reynolds comes after her. she is going to sing Sunday in church. the day has grown colder, wind getting out N West. I am waiting for Gregory to come & put on my storm windows. those persimmons arrived yesterday, they were pretty ripe but so I can pick out enough thanks. we offered some to the baker this morning he said "no. I thank you, I have'nt got over their effects of last year."
