                  Stoughton Nov 10th 1936

Dear Folks

         A warm cloudy morning with a  promise of cold freezing temperature later on in the day. the wind getting to the N West by night. 
         We went up to the Harringtons yesterday + saw the tablet he has set out little green trees + made a gravel walk that leads up to the boulder. while we were there the woman + her little child drove up she is the one who they have let the house to. we think she will be homesick there before winter is over.
        The Harringtons say Joe Bapen has had Lindeloph up there to Squiggins old place clearing out the old furniture, they thought these might be antiques but I doubt there is much of importance no doubt its in need of cleaning up I hope they will go thorough in side + out, its been a disgrace long enough + it dont look as if it would pay to save the old buildings. Emily payed off the old bills they had owed on the estate when she went to Hudson to work but guess she better have put
