and has a married daughter that she lives with and they are very united. The little fishes one died, so Mrs. Barry wants to keep this one, she loves him I wanted to put him back in the brook for he might go like his mate. she asked the Drake girl if she knew how to treat them they have them in Boston in the place she works & she said they put in a half teaspoon of salt into their water I suppose it helps to keep it pure. the fish food I guess is no good too old. he won't eat it & stays down to the bottom of the jar when we put it in. we keep the water pure. Mamie Kate is running Myrtie to beat the band. it makes us provoked. Alice called me up today she says Annie Capin, Frank L. Capin's wife thinks it a shame they do so much talking. Mrs. Barry never liked Myrtie but she asked Mamie if there was'nt anything good she could say. you know she took good care of you when you were sick & she was not there as a nurse. well yes she was good to me when I was sick, she had to acknowledge. but she was a poor housekeeper, she said. everybody is down on her for she does nothing but talk and & thats what people don't like, so there you are. she did the same when Mrs Barry left her & she worked for nothing & everybody is down on her for it but she don't know it. well we keep still. her tongue is her worst enemy. hope you get the letter this week Mrs Mc Garvey has a little dog he barks most of the time. we hate to hear him
