Jud. Family on Orig-
Low hut on roughly split [[strikethrough]] [[??]] [[/strikethrough]] slabs of pine. A low double pitched roof of shakes held in place by blocks of wood on a framework of poles lashed together with maguey cord. The walls are of slabs set on end with longer end in a shallow much filled with earth and their upper ends resting against the slinger, [[with?]] floor. [[Tin?]] in middle and no outlet for smoke except the wide cracks in the walls. Roof 6 to 8 ft high and shiny black from the smoke of the pine wood A rude ax, hor and mattock and machete made up the tools of the man. 
A small gourd - two clay saucers. two clay saucers 2 small clay bowls, six small clay 
jugs and pots the largest [[strikethrough]] [[none??]] [[/strikethrough]] holding [[strikethrough]] [[??]] [[/strikethrough]] about 2 qts, [[strikethrough]] a slab brick [[/strikethrough]] made up the culinary outfit. 3 or 4 small rush baskets formed slim house. A rude slab brick on one side served as general receptacle of food and c- and a single rough stool made up the furniture.
