Poor Mr McKay is up this morning mowing the lawn. I went over there Friday night, as he came up for something, & we both cried over Gertrudes death. he said it was an ulcer that broke on the appendix & Pneumonia set in. she neglected going, for all he gave her the money, untill it was too late. he has the too youngest at his house, & is bound to keep them. the little boy begs them to take him home to see Mama, but the baby is too young to realize, & the big long legged girl, does not seem to care, she is with the other Grand parents, they think her beautiful, I never could see anything to admire in her, she is more like them, very selfish.
