Doris -

Today it has been around 60 to 65 in the same place for 3 days it was 90 to 94. we worked all but Friday on the Road, but Friday Fred had some of his outside work, and I was rather tired so sent [[?]] home this morning I planted some Potatoes and have raked over the ground and wheeled off the dried grass & roots that the hot sun fixed. My Beans are coming up but summer squash have not as yet we have the ground all ready for your Ma's tomatoes she has a lot about ready to set out 40 or more plants that will come for late fruit. the last meeting of Chapter came Friday of this for the season a Visitation from the Deputy alway comes at this time of the year and hope it will be cool week
