our sink drain is frozen up and we are trying to clear it by turning down boiling water, Pa says there is always something to worry one all the time. We hope Heaven will be different, if we ever are likely enough to enter into the "Pearly Gates". By the way, I received a letter from Alice, it seems that she is in Somerville taking care of an old lady 82 years old the one in Brighton, where she was when Gladys was here died. Last fall, I called on Mary Ansel Thursday. She is having lots of trouble with her feet, so she just gets around & does her work. Yesterday Ruby came down with sore throat she is all the time writing up plays & coaching the children her school is the 4th grade, the other teachers in the building help her out with the costumes. Every spring she is so tired out, with so much, that she looses her voice, but she is in love with her work. she & Lucille are still very chummy: two good dispositioned girls. I am very dizzy this morning but think it will work off before long. Pa is down cellar cutting kindlings. I am going to warm some  I madsoup yesterday, for dinner. Hope your cold is on the blink & that Betty is happy pulling her Pupsies nose. Ma
