Dear Children,

This is a wintery morning with snow clinging to every twig literally a white world. Pa and I have managed to dig our paths, but the little birds are puzzled to find food, even the wood pecker came this morning for his visit there is just one piece of suet on the tree, that they all go to, right side of our back steps. As soon as the sun gets high the snow will begin to drop from the trees. Our milk business has changed hands. A Mr. Shaw has bought Roy Malcome out, it is pasturized milk now. (Canton man) but Roy runs his truck, keeping his customers just the same. We expect the milk will keep better. We only use a pint & it has been sufficient now it will be just one pint. before it
