Dear Doris
Another snow storm yesterday and afterwards turned into rain, all foggy this morning & mild temperature. I hope now the sun shines out. the little juneos came in great flocks eager to get the crumbs I had put out early this morning for them. You cant put out much, for there are so many hungry dog after every thing. I was busy knotting my quilt this week Lottie Hickney came up Monday on purpose to see him I showed her that one I covered for you & she thought it the prettyest quilt she ever saw. with so many bright pieces. Pa likes to look at it every time I unroll it I am going to show it to Mrs Dykeman if she gets able to come up here. she had DeLeinner rub her otherwise she thinks she would had Pneumonia & the boys said she surely would. he has done wonders for that woman, simply kept her a going. I hope that box came through all right & that you like the quilt. it is just like the one I am finishing now pieces I had left over. I thought it would fit the crib better than the bigger one. dont worry about Bettie
