I have tried twice to go out and do something but the wind is to strong to stay out last Tuesday "Christmas day" I cut some of the small stuff down on the St end of lot and cut all I had up at the Block there is a lot more I may cut so as to give McGarvey House a chance to cook out doors St same as I did for the Trollop last year. This week we have  Jan 1st for a day off but I shall go up to Farrington's to make an appraisal of that estate and Wed. if the weather is good we are to put St numbers on all the new houses, all over the Town we should have had it done before this. then a report to make for the town Report and by then the new Auto Excise slips will begin to come in and a new set of Books to be opened for the same, to be kept separat from the other Books.
