Dear Folks,

I forgot to tell you the union suite & bed quilt get her Saturday afternoon. I washed out the quilt and left it out over night through a day & night of powerful rain then when I took it in it was good & clean. so I will make a new one out of it. I feel sorry your bundles were not properly done up, some were not even label'd I hope Pa is satisfied, he had his own way as usual. he never can wait, he must have been born flying. Yesterday after our powerful rain, which by the way, took off every particle of snow, Pa went up to Athertons & got a big bag of evergreens, so I can make him his wreath to go up on the lot, after all. We are still having nice sunny days. my heater has been out since Saturday but we shall have to make it up for the house is getting pretty cold. I am going down town this afternoon after my bread comes out of the oven I am baking my own bread
