We woke up Sat morng with
the ground white and all day it snowed but did not gather fast and today it has been cloudy a fine mist and all
the trees twigs are frosted and no signs of clearing off to night. well your Ma has [[suttled?]] down but has to talk a good deal about "Bettie" and how much she has improved in the time she was
down. I think she misses her. some was out in the storm yesterday for the Bank, and will have to go to the meeting to morrow night we also have a hearing in the morning at the
Office for the Shoddy Mill on acct of taxes so shall be busy for the day I think you have a good job of paint for I dont remember if a [[?]] where
the labor was less than the Stock it shows he used plenty of paint and it shows, that way of course it takes
