This contract made and entered into between James R  Yongue of the first part and Hector Jenny & Jim of the second part to wit the said James R Yongue  agrees to pay the said Hector Jenny & Jim the sum of thirty five dollars per month in consideration of the faithful performance of work to be done on the plantation of said James R Yongue for the year 1866. The said James R Yongue agrees to furnish good sound rations of meat & bread also vegetables when it can be [[strikethrough]] had [[/strikethrough]] spared also to furnish a Physician when in the judgement of law James R Yongue the said Hector Jenny or Jim requires one Also one suit of winter & two of summer clothing each 2 pr shoes & Hector & Jim a hat.
