The State of Mississippi
Yazoo county

This agreement and contract made between L. P. King, planter and employer of said County & State of the first part and the undersigning free negroes of the said county & State of the second part Witnesseth what the said King in consideration of the promise and agreement herein after containing and and set forth on the part of the said parties of the second part, agree and covenant with the said parties of the seconds part as follows, to wit, To furnish each of the said part of the second part with board, to furnish Tucker and his wife and children each, the following named clothing, for Tucker one good Linsey or Kersey, [[?]] jacket,one pair Linsey or Kersey pants, two pairs cotton pants, three Ornaburg shirts and one Substantial pair of shoes, and to the Beth (his wife) two cotton frocks, and two chemise and one pair of substantial shoes for the year 1866

To furnish also their two children with comfortable clothing, To furnish medicine and all necessary devotion and attention, in person, to any of said party of the second part If he may be sick during the
