Shert [[Short]] Creek Yazoo County Miss

This agreement made and entered into this day between F.P. Hilliard for his Wife Hattie E. Hilliard and Wm Mosely for the year 1866.  I Wm Mosely and my Wife Phoebe agree to work for the said F. P. Hilliard Agt during the year aforesaid and further agree to do good and faithfull work and obay all orders and conform to all rules about the place and elsewhair as he may direct, further we agree to work all the time that is during the working days twenty six days work to constitute one month.  And the said F.P. Hilliard for his Wife Agrees to pay the above Wm Mosely and his wife Phoebe two hundred and fifty dollars for their work as described above and furnish them with good provisions during the time they are at work and I further agree to furnish the said Wm Mosely and his wife Thirty yds of Osnaburgs and fifteen yds Lincy, and further agree to furnish such Medical attention as I am able to give in case they are sick they paying all other expences

***Short Creek Yazoo County Miss - you can see the "r" in it, too., mentioned on several pages previously, involving the agent F.P. Hilliard. This is an actual Creek found on the map of Miss., and a Cemetery, and a road named Short Creek Rd, in Yazoo Co. Here it looks like Shert Creek, but I know it is Short Creek. Osnaburg and Linsey are fabrics for making their clothing.
