To give said Lusey 3 1/2 pounds of meat; one peck of meal and [[strikethrough]]one pint of molasses per week,[[/strikethrough]] and to pay said Lusey at the rate of $8 per month [[strikethrough]]in money, one third of said monthly wages[[/strikethrough]] in money to be paid at the end of the year [[strikethrough]]one month, and the remainder to be paid at the end of the year,[[/strikethrough]] But if said Lusey shall leave the plantation of said [[strikethrough]]Moore[[/strikethrough]] Chislom at any time during the year, without written permission, for a day or any time less than a day, he shall forfeit $5 for each offence, but should the absence be for a longer time than a day or the offence of leaving for a day or less than a day, be repeated three times, then the said [[strikethrough]]Moore[[/strikethrough]] Chislom or his agent shall have the right, at his entire discretion, to dismiss the said Lusey from the plantation of the said [[strikethrough]] Lusey [[/strikethrough]]Chislom forfeiting all the wages that may be due [[strikethrough]]him[[/strikethrough]] her at the time of [[strikethrough]] his [[/strikethrough]] her dismissal. 
[[/strikethrough]] Said Moore further agrees that if said ____ shall work on any day longer than above stipulated or shall perform more work than the task assigned him as agreed above, he shall at such excess at the same rate or in the same proportion as he is paid for his work in the wages or money above agreed upon.[[/strikethrough]]
