individual expenses, including clothing and medical attention, to repair fences & buildings & any other work the Manager may think necessary for the benefit of the place & crop, especial attention to be paid to the ditches & each plower to take particular pride & care of  their team not to leave the plantation without permission & return at the time specified. Lost time from any cause to be strictly kept & charged at rates just & reasonable to the proper person. The Parents of the children must correct them when they do not behave properly- & if they injure in any way the property of the plantation - the Parents must pay for it. In consideration of the labor of the party of the second part - they are to receive one third of the nett proceeds of the Cotton crop of 1866. It is also understood that the party of the second part bear one third of the expenses in superintending & conducting the operations on the plantation - the remainder by the party of the first part- It is known to all that the advances in provisions & teams as well as the cattle are to be returned in kind at the year 1866- so that the party of the first may have a store of provisions & teams to continue the operations on their plantation for another year or to sell for their individual sale. If there is a surplus of corn or fodder after paying that in kind advanced & after fattening the hogs - the same is to be divided- two thirds to the party of the first part & one third to the party of the second part. Orphans & Superanuated negroes that have been [[raised?]] on the place to be taken care of
In addition we give 1/7 of the hogs raised on the place in the year 1866-
