Contract

State of Mississippi Lowndes County

Entered into between William B Harrington of the first part and Cornelia Blewit of the second part agrees to hire to the party of the first part Commencing January the 1st 1866 untell [until] January the 1st 1867 and she agrees to do good and faithful labor and further agrees to furnish her own Clothing and pay her own Doctors Bill and Deduct all lost time Either from Sicness [sickness] or other wise. Now the party of the first part agrees to furnish good and sufficient Rations and house Rent and fuel and he further agrees to pay her at the end of the year 1866 One hundred and twenty dollars in the currency of the country. Now the party of the second part agrees to get up when my white hands gets up and go to work when they go and come when they come eat when they eat and do all things common about the house and yard and feeding of stock as the white ones do. Now if the party of the second part fails to comply with the above rule there shall be so, amts deducted from her wages as two disinterested Citizens may Say
