Kept on the plantation except by the consent of the employers. The parties of the second part agree for themselves and their dependents that they will act in deed and word polite and respectful to the parties of the first part, their families and agents, and that they will enforce obedience to these, and all other rules, on their dependents. It is agreed that violations of the rules may subject the laborer or his dependents to dismissal from the place with forfeiture of all unpaid wages. first to be approved by proper officer
