The said Henry W. Wornell on his part agrees to furnish the undersigned Freedmen with good Shelter and Comfortable quarters upon the said farm,

The said Wornell further agrees to furnish the undersigned Freedmen with good and sufficient food and subsistance and to allow them to have the privelege of absenting themselves from the farm on Sundays with his consent except as many as in the judgment of the said Wornell shall be necessary for the Cooking, Care of the Stock &c upon the said Wornells farm,

The said Wornell agrees to pay the said Freedmen in Current Money of the United States at the rates set opposite our names in this document and should He discharge any of the undersigned from his employ before the expiration of the year 1866 without sufficient cause he shall pay to those so discharged at the rates indicated in this agreement per month for the time they may have been in his employ or service,
