Monroe County 
This indenture mad this the 14th day of January 1866 by and between Wiley Collins of the firs part and the following named freedmen of the Second part all of the State and County afore Said (viz) Ned Senor Ned Jr Jack Sintha Aley Francis Jacob John  Witnesseth that the parties of the Second par for and in consideration of the suing hearinafter mentioned agrees to worke on the farm of the Said party of the first part during the year 1866 for the following prices to wit  Ned Sen five Dollars per month Ned Jr four Dollars per month Jack [[strikethrough]] ten [[/strikethrough]] twelve 12 Dollars per month Sintha Seven Dollars per month Aley Six Dollars per month Francis Six Dollars per month Jacob five Dollars per month Jack five Dollars per month and the Said party of the first part agrees to furnish the Said parties with good and hoalsom food and comfortable quarters and two suits of common clothes for the year
