To yours of the 24th I reply,
1. There is a tax of one dollar per head for school purposes as per constitution.
2. The local school officer is a 'trustee', as provided in Sec. 22, of the school law, a copy of which I send you. The poll. tax goes into a general fund.
3. We make no difference between day and 
night schools.
