Sir,

In reply to your communication of Aug. 24th in regard to Ed. Form No 3, I would respectfully say that I am not dissatisfied with the present form, and doubt if a simpler one better adapted to the different States and localities could be devised.

Very Respectfully,
Your obedient Sevt

Clark Calvin
Helena, Ark.

I wrote to you or Mrs. C. when in Memphis troubling you with the question which I am now about to repeat, presuming that my former letter failed to reach you. It is whether your Society has received any aid for your normal classes either here or at Helena, from the Peabody fund.

Hope you passed the summer without sickness. Found my wife & child well on my return.

It will be some weeks before I can visit Phillips again
