Whoever goes to Helena should keep clear of sectarian and partisan controversies and be a consistent temperance and sabbath school worker. I regret that I had no opportunity to confer with the school Directors but will write the Pres't., Judge John E. Bennett to-day. Should they decline, for political or other reasons, to give their patronage (which is barely possible) the school might nevertheless be opened, and might by good management be made self-supporting. Better schools and more missionary labor are urgently demanded.

Very Respectfully Yours,
Wm M Colby
Sup't Edn.
