Respectfully returned with following suggestions:

1 If the small rooms are designed for recitation only they may be smaller; if for study as well they should be somewhat larger.

2 School-rooms should be lighted by windows on opposite sides only. Windows on a third side are not only not necessary but the cross-lights they occasion are said to be injurious to the eyes of pupils

3. Provide ample ventilation.
