upon. This school is self sustaining, and the patrons are not able to procure the above articles in addition to paying the teacher, and earnestly recommend that the sum asked for. may be appropriated for the purposes mentioned.

It is however respectfully recommended that the sum of seventy five dollars $75.00 be granted for the purpose specified on the same conditions that repairs were made on the Bethel church Little Rock: to wit: that no teacher be employed in the school except those qualified as provided in circular no. 23, series 1866.
