E. Letter: States the freedmen of Hangus Mill desire to establish a school. The proprietor will lease one acre of ground without charge and the freedmen can put up a school house if aided by the Bureau to the amount of $100.
Recommends that this amount be appropriated for the purpose, Chas. Lee. Thos Wilson and Saml Davis compose the board of trustees and will have charge of the erection of the building.
