E Letter: Recapitulates the contents of a former letter, to wit: that the colored people of Washington county have held a meeting, elected a board of trustees, and secured a deed of land for school purposes.  Wishes to know what amount will be appropriated to aid in building a school house.

If the teachers desired are for other points the agent will please state the location, and after careful inquiry into number of pupils to attend and the remuneration that is positively assured. No teachers will arrive in the state the before October.
