Upon returning to my official duties after an absence of 30 days I find on my desk A.H. Andrews' letter of Sept. 5th and Mr. Webster's endorsement thereon, Sept. 16th. concerning the furniture for the Helena School House. In answer to Mr. Websters' inquiry I would respectfully state that the Disbursing officer here (Henry Page) will pay all bills for the cost and shipment of the desks and slate when he is officially informed by the Agent that the same have been received by him in good order.
