We have at last brought in our clothes + managed to get them all dried by the fire in the kitchen stove. so probably the rest of the week it will be good washing days the sun is at last shining out + it looks good to my eyes at least. now I guess our snow will go. my tulip that Mystic gave me has four blossoms on it. she called me up yesterday + talked on the telephone. I guess she needs a change as the woman where she is, seems very fussy. Lotty says so + also says her brother who built the house next to her, has been crazy for years. he married Mabel Austins oldest girl + she has been there all alone + has for many years while he is in Foxboro insane asylum. their Father was Frank Regmond a drunkard perhaps that had something to do with his childrens' ailments the mother was a Bresnham a very nice lady + easygoing. that's where the money comes from. his father built the two stay house for her so she could earn a living by taking boarders. it is right across the railroad track as you go to Brockton. funny we haven't heard form Alice since she went home to Matties. should think she could call us up if nothing more. hope Lena has got settled at least. I am sure its lucky she didn't stay here through March. it has been our worst month so far. it has clouded in + is snowing again, so you see we cannot tell anything about the weather these times. Ma today is pleasant but pretty cold ground covered with snow.
